About the Espresso Book Machine

The Espresso Book Machine, with the push of a button, can print a title with a full-color cover, bind it and trim it to any standard size. In a matter of minutes, the title will emerge from the EBM as a bookstore-quality paperback book which the customer can purchase. The EBM technology offers bricks-and-mortar retailers the opportunity to become community self-publishing centers, providing a new distribution platform for self-published writers and an important outlet for emerging authors like the participants in Write Michigan. In addition, the EBM improves overall efficiency and environmental sustainability by eliminating shipping and the return and pulping of unwanted books.
